“Refresh” is a Gospel outreach in Falkirk with an aim to preach the Gospel to the unreached in Falkirk and Central Scotland. ”Refresh” was started based on the beautiful story in 2 Kings 3. King Jehoshaphat in the bible faced a great problem. His army went out of water when they were chasing an enemy. So they approached Elisha the prophet for help and this is what God said:
“‘Make this valley full of ditches.’ For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ “
We are living in a beautiful valley called Forth valley. “Refresh” was started with a vision to make this Forth valley full of ditches so that God’s mighty rain of revival will be poured over the entire Forth valley.
William Carey said: “Attempt great things for God and expect great things from God”. Through “Refresh” we want to build a strong team of passionate people who are willing to attempt great things for God and expect great things from God.
The goal of “Refresh” is:
- To preach the Gospel to the unreached in Falkirk and Central Scotland through various creative ways
- To see souls saved, baptised and lives transformed and restored
- To encourage Christians in Falkirk and Central Scotland to grow stronger in faith and to get involved in evangelism
- To make a positive impact to peoples lives in Falkirk and Central Scotland and help in transforming through God’s Word
